My Nevada Tax is Live!
12/13/2024 Update:
Company Identifier to Prevent Debit Blocking on ACH Debits/e-Checks
A debit block is a form of fraud prevention that protects your bank accounts from unauthorized electronic charges. If you have established a debit block with your financial institution on the bank account you use to remit tax payments, you need to communicate with your bank to authorize debit payments to the Nevada Department of Taxation. Your bank will process only these authorized transactions.
To ensure that your debit payments to the Nevada Department of Taxation are successful, you or your financial officer should:
- Speak with your bank before setting up a debit payment.
- Provide the company identifier (company ID) and name to your bank.
Note: If you do not provide the company ID and name listed below, your bank may reject the payment and the Nevada Department of Taxation may send you a bill for the amount due, including penalty and interest.

How do I get my new account number/do I use my TID?
- As part of our modernization, our account structure is changing. Taxpayer IDs (TIDs) will no longer be the primary method to identify your accounts with us. We will be utilizing your federal ID (FEIN, SSN, or ITIN) to identify the entity and a new account number to identify your individual accounts. The easiest way to get your new account number is to log onto My Nevada Tax. You may still use your TID in some cases, but our forms will be moving to the account ID through the modernization project. Newly registered taxpayers will not be issued a TID.
